The Equinox spans 2,300 acres of land, including the
historic equinox hotel, the Charles Orvis Inn, and Avanyu
Spa. Re-opened in 2003 with a beautiful 13,000 square foot
state-of-the-art facility, an 18 hole championship quality
golf course, and clubhouse, equinox pond and part of mount
equinox. Located in Manchester Village, Vermont the resort
can trace its roots to 1769, when the region's first lodging
was erected on the site.
The historic resort has 183 rooms and suites in the equinox,
adjacent townhouses and the Charles Orvis Inn. The Charles
Orvis Inn, reopened in July 1995, includes nine luxurious
one- and two-bedroom suites with marble baths, full
cherry-paneled kitchens, and gracious living and dining
areas. Guests at the Orvis Inn enjoy the exclusive use of
the private tying room bar, billiard room, stately board
room and marble terrace.
The Spa at the Equinox encourages guests to awaken their
spirit and reconnect with nature, using a variety of
treatments that incorporate products native to the
surrounding Vermont region, including maple sugar,
wildflowers and mineral clay. The 13,000 square foot
full-service resort spa reflects the beauty and nature of
Vermont?s pristine environment. Here you will find a
comprehensive menu of massage, facial and body treatments,
in addition to a heated indoor pool, cardio room, and
