1999. The property re-opened for business August 29, 2006
following a dramatic $550-million renovation.
Featuring 1,740 guest rooms, including 95 suites, all
completely redone after Katrina. Beds have pillowtop
mattresses. Bathrooms have Spanish and Grecian marble
floors. Rooms have 32-inch flat-screen televisions. Rooms

Beau Rivage include Memphis Q Smokehouse & Barbeque, Coast
(seafood and wood-fired pizzas), The Buffet, Terrace Cafe

(fast food) and Scoops Ice Cream. Opening in December 2006
are Todd English's Olives, BR Prime Steakhouse and a
pan-Asian restaurant.
